Workshop Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
  • Payment must be made at the time of booking via our designated payment methods.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any booking if it does not meet our booking requirements.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Workshops are non refundable, however, we are more than happy to accomodate a change of date/time on one (1) occasion at no additional cost with a minimum of 7 days notice.
  • If you are unable to reschedule, we will issue you with a voucher for the total value, less a 10% administration fee. The voucher is valid for 3 years from the date of issue and can be used to purchase any of our products or book future workshops.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances or minimum participant numbers not met. In this event, you will be offered an alternative date or full refund.
  • No-shows will not receive a refund.

3. Transfers

  • Bookings are transferable to another person. Kindly notify us at least 48 hours in advance with the new participant's details. Please note, we will make every effort to cater for specific dietary needs however, we cannot guarantee substitutions can be made if less than 48 hours notice is given.
  • You may transfer your booking to a different workshop date with at least 7 days' notice, subject to availability.

4. Health and Safety

  • Participants are required to follow all health and safety guidelines provided during the workshop.
  • We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur as a result of non-compliance with these guidelines.

5. Liability

  • We are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the workshop.
  • Any damage to the workshop venue or equipment caused by a participant will be charged to the participant.

6. Workshop Content

  • The content of the workshop is subject to change based on availability of materials and other factors. We will make every effort to deliver the workshop as described.

7. Age Restrictions

  • Participants must be at least 12 years old to attend a workshop on their own.
  • Participants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

8. Privacy Policy

  • Your personal data will be used solely for the purposes of administering your booking and participation in the workshop.
  • We will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent.

9. Photography and Recording

  • We may take photographs or record the workshop for promotional purposes. By participating, you agree to be photographed or recorded.
  • If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify us before the workshop begins.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All materials provided during the workshop, including written content, recipes, and techniques, are for personal use only. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without our express permission.

11. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations where such failure is due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

12. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland.

13. Acceptance of Terms

  • By booking a candle workshop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
